No Limits means boundless, and that’s our pursuit.
At No Limits Media, we provide unrestricted access to films, commercials, videos, and live events for everyone, so every viewer has an accessible experience.
Our subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH), audio description (AD), and live transcription services “translate” your cinematic works and events to complement the specific experiences of people with a hearing or visual impairment. We can also provide the original with foreign language subtitles (OmU – Original mit Untertiteln) in around 40 languages.
We make your films, commercials, videos, and live events accessible.
Around 16 million people in Germany live with a hearing or visual impairment. According to the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights, the Bundesteilhabegesetz (“Federal Participation Act”), and the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (the implementation of the European Accessibility Act in Germany), these people all have the right to access all films, commercials, and videos broadcast on television, screened at the cinema, or released on websites, streaming platforms, and social media.
The content of live events must also be available to everyone without restriction. We’re committed to this on a daily basis!
We work to ensure that people with a hearing or visual disability have unimpeded access to films, commercials, videos, and live events. This is because the conviction that all people have equal rights is what drives us and our approach to what we do.
Subtitling, audio description, and live transcription
How do people with visual impairments experience films and commercials? What makes a good audio description of a film? Our certified and experienced subtitlers, translators, and writers know exactly how to translate your content so that people with a hearing or visual impairment can experience your movie and television productions, commercials, and streaming services in their entirety. And we do this literally without limits. By cooperating closely with highly skilled native translators in the respective countries, we’ve established an international network to realize international projects.
A partner with limitless potential
We go the extra mile for our clients. At No Limits Media, every assignment is unique because we don’t use a cookie-cutter approach. Our subtitles, audio descriptions, and live transcriptions accommodate your wishes and the particular requirements of your project, so that your movie, commercial, video, or live event can be viewed and heard – and at any rate, experienced in its entirety.
For many years now, No Limits Media has been a professional partner to various clients, including film distributors, communications agencies, influencers, authorities, institutions, and broadcasting stations. We know the specific objectives and challenges of various formats and media, and we realize them with our client in mind.
No Limits Media quality, because that’s what your subtitles, audio description, and live transcription deserve
At No Limits Media, we guarantee subtitles, audio descriptions, and live transcriptions in line with international quality standards. Regardless of whether it’s a student graduation film or a blockbuster, a 10-second film or a 12-part TV series, we apply the same standards to every production.
Because it’s the audiences that matter, we always adopt a holistic approach to our assignments. Who will be watching the movie or clip, in what environment, and with what intention? Will the work be shown at festivals, on television, in movie theaters, or on social media? Once we have this information, we work out the timing and workflow for our clients and discuss the reviewing stage.
We’re happy to go the extra mile to ensure your work meets your and our high standards for quality. Once the subtitles and/or audio description have been created, every file passes through our comprehensive No Limits Media quality check and is put through its paces again to review content, linguistic, and technical aspects. Are all the names or product descriptions positioned correctly? Are the timecodes correct? Was the right format (SRT, XML, WAV, MOV etc.) created? Have the technical requirements been met? We only deliver when everything is truly consistent.
